The house is surrounded by 5 acres of meadow and woodland.
The swimming pool is edged with natural limestone and has been designed to resemble a water storage 'bassin', once a common feature locally. It is 11 metres long, and purified with salt. The pool area is surrounded by a large terrace and has a retractable electric cover for safety.
